Fardad Muhammad Baig
Mr. Fardad Muhammad Baig belongs to the Chitral, District of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa. Born in the October of 1993, Fardad was raised in the harsh conditions of the beautiful valley of Chitral and as a result learned the value of resilience and persistence at an early age. He studied at the prestigious, Islamia College Peshawar before going on to pursue his BSc Honours in Political Science from the Lahore University of Management Sciences. Following his graduation in 2014, Mr. Baig has worked in the development sector in projects ranging from Rule of Law, Governance and Public Health. He is currently working as a Consultant with the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, Health Department in the implementation of their Secondary Health Care Reforms Road Map.
Mr. Baig is Development Consultant by profession and training, a basketball player and a vocalist by passion and an adventurer at heart. He was the Senior Council member of the LUMS Adventure Society and led numerous mountaineering and trekking trips to the Northern Areas of Pakistan. Furthermore, as Vice-President of AIESEC in Lahore, he facilitated student exchanges to promote peace and understanding between Pakistan and other nations. His aim is to work in the development sector at the policy level to ensure that reforms take place at the highest level.
